About The Suit

If anyone's curious, I made my fursuit myself. It's the first I've ever made and it was a huge learning experience for me.

Features:
-wearable as a partial or full suit
-open muzzle to allow for air flow
-follow-me eyes
-slipper based feet for comfort
-newly refurbished head and hair tuft
-newly adjusted and fitted bodysuit
-resin claws in the feet, clay claws in the hands

Building materials used:
-foam for head and feet paws
-two colors of faux fur
-craft foam and plastic cross-stitch material
-felt, elastic, spandex (ear insides/paw pads, tail loops, head lining)
-polyfill stuffing


This suit was first constructed in the beginning of 2014, and has served me well for these past few years. It's even attended Anthrocon (2015) and was featured in the parade there! Since its initial construction, the eyes have been redone to increase their follow effect. The original hairstyle has been altered to better suit my character's actual hairstyle. I've also recently refurbished the bodysuit to make it more fitted to my body. Aside from those things, typical repairs and maintenance have also been done. 

The foam head base and feet were patterned with a little help from the internet and the rest was my own design! The tail is curved because it was patterned so. Movement is relatively easy despite it not fitting as well as some do. Vision is surprisingly good, despite a central blind spot (the periphery makes up for it in my opinion). All in all, I'm very happy with it~!
